Welcome to Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, obligations, and limitations related to the use of our website and car rental services. By accessing our platform or making a booking, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our website and services.

1. Definitions

Company, We, Us refers to Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC.
Customer, You, User refers to any individual or entity using our services.
Vehicle refers to any car offered for rental by Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC.
Agreement refers to the rental contract and all related terms.

2. Eligibility to Rent

To rent a Vehicle from Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC, the Customer must:

Be at least 21 years of age, or any higher age requirement specified for certain vehicle categories.
Hold a valid driving licence acceptable in the United Arab Emirates.
Provide valid identification (such as a passport or Emirates ID).
Provide a valid payment method.

Additional age or licence restrictions may apply depending on the Vehicle category and rental conditions.

3. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to Vehicle availability.
Prices displayed on the website are indicative and may vary based on dates, season, rental duration, and Vehicle category.
A booking is considered confirmed only after the required payment or deposit has been successfully processed and a confirmation message or voucher has been issued to the Customer.
The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or incorrect information.

4. Payments & Security Deposits

Depending on the Vehicle type and rental period, advance payment may be required.
A security deposit may be collected to cover potential traffic fines, SALIK toll charges, fuel differences, damage, or late return fees.
All payments are processed securely through approved payment providers. The Company does not store full payment card details on its public systems.
Any outstanding amounts related to fines, damages, or extra services may be charged to the Customer’s payment method after the rental, in accordance with the Agreement.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the specific offer or booking channel.

Some bookings may be non-refundable once confirmed.
In certain cases, cancellation fees or administrative charges may apply.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed through the original payment method within a reasonable time frame, subject to the terms of the payment provider.

The Customer is responsible for reviewing the applicable cancellation policy at the time of booking.

6. Vehicle Use & Restrictions

By renting a Vehicle from Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC, the Customer agrees to:

Use the Vehicle in a lawful and responsible manner and in full compliance with UAE traffic laws and regulations.
Not use the Vehicle for any illegal activities or purposes, including but not limited to racing, towing without permission, or transporting prohibited goods.
Not drive the Vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substances that impair driving ability.
Not sublease, transfer, or permit any unauthorised person to drive the Vehicle.
Return the Vehicle in the same condition in which it was received, taking into account normal wear and tear.

The Agreement may specify limits on mileage, allowed driving areas, fuel policies, and additional usage restrictions. Violations of these conditions may result in additional charges or termination of the rental.

7. Traffic Fines, Tolls & Accidents

The Customer is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking violations, and penalties incurred during the rental period.
SALIK toll charges and similar road fees incurred during the rental may be charged to the Customer, along with any applicable administrative fees.
In the event of an accident, the Customer must immediately contact the police to obtain an official report and inform Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC as soon as possible.
Failure to obtain a valid police report may result in the Customer bearing full responsibility for damages, in accordance with the insurance and rental terms.

8. Insurance Coverage

Vehicles may be covered by basic insurance in accordance with applicable UAE regulations.
Additional coverage options (such as collision damage waivers or extended coverage) may be available at extra cost, subject to their own terms and conditions.
Insurance coverage may be void or limited in cases involving negligence, reckless driving, driving under the influence, unauthorised drivers, or breach of the Agreement.

9. Website Usage

By using the Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC website, the User agrees not to:

Copy, reproduce, or republish website content without prior written permission from the Company.
Attempt to hack, modify, disrupt, or overload the website or its systems.
Use automated tools, bots, or scraping technologies to extract data from the website without explicit written consent.

The Company reserves the right to restrict or suspend access to the website for any User who violates these rules or engages in abusive behaviour.

10. Data & Privacy

The collection and use of personal data through the website and rental process are governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy. By using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your data in accordance with it.

11. Liability Limitations

Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC is not responsible for loss of personal belongings left inside the Vehicle.
The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Vehicle or the website.
The Company is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to system outages, third-party failures, or force majeure events.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC in connection with any rental or related service will not exceed the amount of the rental fees paid by the Customer for the relevant booking.

12. Modifications to These Terms

Rotana Star Rent A Car LLC may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website or services after such changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the website, or any rental Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the UAE, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
